Information for Merchants and Networks
What do merchants and networks need to know about LettuceLinks?
LettuceLinks is designed to make the world of affiliate marketing a less complex and intimidating place for web site owners. We do not replace any exisiting affiliate programs or networks, instead we complement them. LettuceLinks makes it easier for web site owners to manage all of their affiliate programs in one place with tools and reports across all of their programs.

All of our users must have and maintain their own affiliate programs with networks like Commission Junction, LinkShare and Amazon Associates and so on. Users who already have accounts can use them with LettuceLinks and we help new users sign up with merchants and networks that fit their website's content.

Once registered, LettuceLinks allows users to view all of their affiliate relationships in one centralized place and we help the user identify new potential partnerships by providing affiliate analytics of their web site's traffic.

And last, but certainly not least, we make creating affiliate links to any one of their affiliate programs as simple as including a single line of JavaScript. This means the publisher can focus on driving quality traffic to merchants, not the technical details of managing their affiliate links.

Why would someone use LettuceLinks?
In a vast sea of affiliate programs and affiliate networks, maintaining multiple links and relationships becomes a difficult and time consuming task.

LettuceLinks reduces the technology barrier of affiliate links so that publishers can focus on their website content and tailor content to drive even more high quality traffic to you. We also help identify new relationships for users and provide detailed traffic statistics.

Do merchants and networks have to accept LettuceLinks users as part of their affiliate programs?
Yes. Unlike other competing programs to LettuceLinks, we respect the rights of all merchants to have full control over who they accept into their affiliate programs. All of our users must have and maintain active relationships with all affiliate partners.

This approach allows LettuceLinks to tie into the existing affiliate programs and work with them. We are not a replacement for affiliate programs but a service to make managing and applying to programs easier for publishers.

Does LettuceLinks pay commission?
We do not pay users any commission. Users are paid their commission thru existing affiliate networks and programs, unlike some competitors who take all of the commission and pay users directly. We believe this is a better approach to the existing affiliate ecosystem and LettuceLinks ties into all of it with minimum impact.

How do users know to apply for merchant affiliate programs?
Our intelligent reporting shows our users affiliate traffic they are already generating from their website. We call this feature MatchMaker. MatchMaker allows a web site owner (publisher) to easily identify existing links and traffic generated from their web site.

By surfacing this information to site owners, we empower them to join the ideal affiliate programs for their website's content and create mutually beneficial relationships for merchants, networks and publishers.

Does LettuceLinks check every site that wants to sign up?
Yes, we manually review each and every domain that registers for LettuceLinks. We also ensure that LettuceLinks is not used on any unapproved domains by proactively monitoring our referral traffic.

Ultimately though, accepting publishers is still up to merchants and networks. While we have our own high standards for who we accept to our service, we believe merchants and networks should be able to review their potential publishers just as we do, unlike some of our competing products.

How can I tell if my company's affiliate program is supported by LettuceLinks?
Currently LettuceLinks supports the 5 affiliate networks shown below but we are constantly growing and adding more supported programs. Supporting these networks means we are able to support all of the merchants and programs within each network.

If you have an affiliate program which is not affiliated with the above networks, and you wish to inquire about joining LettuceLinks, please contact us directly.
